Monster Movie Poster Mania: Breygent’s Sci-fi/Horror Movie Poster Series II
by: Bobbie Shay
Breygent Marketing’s new sequel to their successful Scifi/Horror Movie Poster Trading Card Series has grabbed the attention of collectors everywhere. The newly released trading card set focuses on Classic Poster Art with a nostalgic homage to the original “Monster” movies.

Back in the day of Karloff and the original King Kong, when there were no such things as Twitter, Youtube, or Google, one of the Movie Studios’ main ways to connect with their target audience was The Movie Poster. The job of each poster was to tell the story of the movie and sell it to the public.

This led to a never before seen and sometimes shocking new form of art, the Movie Poster. Very soon after, collectors would find themselves on the hunt for their own piece of this movie memorabilia.

Breygent, realizing that the focus of the art was paramount, released these cards in a larger than standard format of 3.5” x 5” This set features sketch cards from over 100 sketch card artists that depicted movie poster art from the 1930’s to the 1980’s. This new set is sold in packs only. Each pack containing: 4-base cards (with over 49 to collect), 1-promo card, 2-chase cards, 1-original artist sketch card, and 1-special 2.5” x 3.5” Metallogloss card (with 18 to collect). There are also 4 aurograph cards randomly inserted to collect.

So Campy Movie Buffs Listen Up!!!..Whether you’re a fan of ‘Night of the Living Dead’, ‘The Brain that Wouldn’t Die’, or “Phantom of the Opera’, there will be something in this set for you!
