The Wolf Man, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, and The Bride of Frankenstein. These are just a few of the Universal Monsters classic characters.
We caught up with Chris Myers, of Diamond Select Toys, to talk about what to expect with their Universal Monster toys in 2011.
Horror News Network: Before we jump into the 2011 releases, can you catch us up on those released in 2010?
Chris Myers: The 2010 releases included two retro cloth figures, Frankenstein and Wolfman, two Select action figures Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Mummy as well the companion pieces with simpler bases in TRU. Horror News Network: What type of research is done by the artists when creating these collectibles?
Chris Myers: We were all tortured in having to watch those classic movies again and again. LOL.
Horror News Network: Where can our readers find out more about The Universal Monsters from Diamond Select Toys?
Chris Myers: I think the best place for inside information or early news at the DSTChuck Twitter account and the Art Asylum website.
